PRADA MODE ABU DHABI




On the 11th and 12th February, Prada presented the 11th edition of Prada Mode in Abu Dhabi’s MiZa district. Curated by Theaster Gates, this iteration offers two tonally and sonically distinct experiences through architectural intervention. Anchored in the format of a circle within a square, a cylindrical structure situated in the middle of the space will create a boundary between the realms, dividing the room in two.




Prada Mode Abu Dhabi featured two days of musical and cultural programming — spotlighting local and regional talent, celebrating the diverse expressions, traditions, intelligence, creativity, and contributions of Arab women across creative disciplines.

The inner sanctum hosted acoustic music sets and functioned as a large conversation pit, while the surrounding space set a brighter stage for DJ sets and live performances.
