JUNE 2026

PRADA MODE - NEW YORK

On 3 and 4 June 2026, Prada presented the fourteenth iteration of Prada Mode at New York’s iconic Hotel Chelsea: Satellites II, concived in collaboration with Danish film director Nicolas Winding Refn and Japanese game creator Hideo Kojima. Coinciding with the Tribeca Festival, the project extended the duo’s ongoing creative dialogue into fully immersive territory, building their Tokyo exhibition exploring love, language, and creativity.

Across two days, guests were invited to the Hotel Chelsea to attend panel discussions and performances. Highlights included conversations with Abel Ferrara, Amanda Gorman and Sophie Thatcher—who also delivered her first live performance—as well as performances by Precious Renee Tucker and Miho Hatori, alongside workshops hosted by Copenhagen’s Juno the Bakery.

The first day of Prada Mode concluded with celebration at Katz’s Deli: an informal dinner, with a special menu curated by Sam Laurence of Bridges and an afterparty with DJ sets by Grandmaster Flash, Justin Strauss and Papi Juice.

For 48 hours, select bedrooms at the Hotel Chelsea were transformed into micro television studios, dedicated entirely to the Prada Mode Channel, livestreamed continuously on prada.com and at the Prada Broadway store. Interviews, performances and readings filled the broadcast, rendering the hotel’s interior both an intimate and public-facing experience.

For a further three days, Prada Mode opened to the public, its energy extending beyond the Hotel Chelsea into the wider city. Installations at the hotel and Prada Broadway, screenings at the Angelika Film Center, and an exclusive menu at Katz’s Delicatessen sustained the project’s presence beyond the private programme.
